Learnings what's really important

Kobe Bryant once said, "Once you know what it is in life that you want to do, then the world basically becomes your library."

And, that's so true. Just think about it: if you wanna be the best designer out there, you start looking at the design of everyday things. What's broken? What could be better? How do doors work? Car tyres? Chairs? Everything around you is like a masterclass in becoming a great designer.

The same goes for most jobs. Engineer, writer, teacher you name it.

But here's the catch: learning what's important... that's important too.

Back in the 2020 pandemic stock market crash, a ton of people lost big trading derivatives. You might think, "Derivatives trading is risky, I'm out."

But those same folks are now losing big trading meme coins. The real lesson should've been: "Any kind of trading without supervision, knowledge, and practice is just gambling. You might win small, but when you lose, you lose big."

That's a lesson you can take with you. Narrowing your learning too much can be just as dangerous as not learning at all.

So, pay attention to what really matters. Learn the big lessons, the ones that stick with you no matter what you're doing.
